Frequently Asked Questions

Doesn't it cost too much to use a party planner?

No, in fact, party planners often end up saving you money. We have access to wholesale and bulk pricing which we pass on to you. Many items you will rent through us, rather than have to buy, again, saving you money. While of course we charge for our services, most of our clients have gladly paid to have someone oversee all aspects of the party planning, thereby saving them countless hours and headaches.

I'm creative. Why can't I do it myself?

We hear this question a lot. Most people are surprised at the amount of time that it takes to plan a special party. For example, for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, we will usually spend about 80 - 100 hours researching products, meeting with clients, creating unique and special decor just for that client, setting up the party, coordinating with all the vendors, and tending to the family's needs. Most people who are hosting a party, whether they are creative or not, simply cannot take the time out of their busy schedules to do it all and do it right. Also, while you are enjoying yourself and tending to your party guests, we are setting up your party and making sure it is running smoothly.

Does my party have to have a theme?

For some parties, themes can provide a cohesive look and feel, and can make a statement.  For example, the photograph on the home page of this web site was from a night club-themed party, complete with a line at the door, a VIP guest list and personalized wrist bands.  Parties do not have to have a theme, however, and some of the best parties can be designed around fabulous food, beautiful decor and great friends!
